Paul (and others) -
I put in a new garden in my front yard last June and July. I built the
"frontest" part (closest to the streeet) around a few shrubs and Eupatorium
'Gateway' and Cimicifuga ramosa 'atropurpurea'--12 of them, I think. They were
good sized, two feeet high in gallon pots but most seemed to wither and appear to
die by September. It was a drought time, but I watered a lot. I think I watered
too much. The Eupatrium did beautifully as did the woodies.
What do you think I can expect this year. Do you think I watererd too much--or
too little? Hard to say without being there, I know, but whatever you can tell
me about their cultural needs would be appreciated.
