need suggestions
I live on a large sand dune with very mature oaks. Last year we lost two
of those oaks in a storm. Now I have two places where they get some sun but
not enough for a starter tree to grow in.
What I need assistance in is suggestions for Large shrubs or trees that
don't get bigger then 10 - 12 feet (because of the electrical lines above)
and like moderate shade. I'm currently thinking of some Japanesse Maples
but I would like to present my husband with other options too.
What ever tree or shrub I but in these spots has to also like being
surrounded by Hosta (just a minor obsession that I have).
