Re: Germination Time


I seem to have pretty good luck germinating aquilegia seeds by sowing them
in a flat filled with vermiculite.  They can stay in it for quite a
while.  I have a harder time getting them transplanted into the ground but
have found they make the transition best if I line them out in a shady
place that I can water frequently.  I used to try to put them into 6-packs,
but I think they do just as well going from the vermiculte flat directly
into the ground.
