Grus an Aachen (sp?) does well in shade from
my own experience and Ann Lovejoy writes
"shade tolerant and impervious to black spot."
Very pretty rose, comes in two forms, one
cream with a pale, pinky-peachy center, full and
nicely fragrant. Also comes in a light pink
shade, usually denoted as "Pink Grus an
Aachen." Get it from a reputable grower or you
may get the pink when you want the white, or
vice versa, if they are not aware of the two
forms.
