We have had many desperately freezing weeks in Michigan this season, but
apparently not enough...the following plants (that are not supposed to)
have remained evergreen: Bibi Maizoon rose, Ferdinand Picard rose, various
gladioli (not the 'hardy' type), German iris, and Trandescantia. What
effect is this going to have? I am concerned that they will not live out
the summer if they don't have a chance to be dormant in winter,
particularly considering the challenging circumstances in which they are
being grown.
