I am trying to put some roses in my shady garden, here in the pine and
oak forest, but without much luck in getting blooms. The rose mentioned
above was the first I put in, 3 years ago, but it has barely bloomed. I
had a bit better luck with Zephirine Drouin, and I keep trying! I have
ordered Desprez a Fleurs Jaune to put in this year. Give me a couple of
years, and I may soon be an expert in roses that bloom, or don't bloom,
in shade!
