Dear John,
I too have put in G. macrorrhizum. I planted 1 6" pot 2 years ago and now have
a place aprox.3 1/2 ft round. I like the foilage of this plant very much.
It is located on top of a wall under a red spruce tree and I do not do a lot
of suplemental watering during the year. Only in time of drought. I do not
have the time nor energy to coddle plants so they need to be fairly tough to
make it my garden. Lots of luck with yours.
