Is that my problem? Kindness? I have had the
green and pink hellebores for six years, no
seedlings. The white for one year. They do
very well and flower heavily, east bed, raised
bed under a huge fir tree. I do mulch yearly
with compost and summer water.

Jane, My Helleborus reseed themselves by the
hundreds. They are growing in
hard clay and never get any attention. Each
spring I am able to dig and pot
up to 100 plants from only one clump. You
should not have a problem unless
you kill them with kindness.
