Re: [SHADEGARDENS] Texas Hosta

> A few years back at Winter Scientific meeting of the Hosta Society I met a gentleman from Texas who ran a major nursery and was looking to find the "right" hosta for Texas. Give him a call and I will bet he can help you...and tell him Jack from Wisconsin (we had Chinese dinner the Friday prior to the meeting) says "HI".

Hi all,

If you're looking for the right hosta, for any place at all, you need to write a message, and hope that Paul Aden (the Hosta Genius) answers. You might even send the message directly to him as well.

Meanwhile, I haven't seen any comments from any of the members on the article that he posted. It really is wonderful, informative and well written. Everyone should see it, especially if you're looking to blend a collection of relly unusual plants in a garden and still have the garden be a quiet place you want to visit.

by the way, Paul's address is adengar@idt.net
