[SHADEGARDENS] Sunflower-like mums???

Sheila, as near as I can judge from your description, the "sunflower-like"
mum is probably *Kimie*, which is classified as a spoon. This cultivar is
available from King's Chrysanthemums, P.O. Box 268, Clements, CA 95227.
They have a lovely catalog available for $2 refundable. Many color
photos. My wife also suggests it might be *Peggy Stevens,* which is
classified as a single. A similar variety, but with white petals, is
*Margarita*...truly a beauty. These perform especially well in the shade,
the cuttings sometimes getting 4 or 5 inches tall and surviving a
couple of weeks before they croak and irretrevably turn to mulch. (|;-)}.

> Welcome, David. If I promise to grow it in the shade, can I ask a mum
