Marge, this thread started because someone was objecting to some recently
received get rich quick spam, and blamed the email list.  I responded that
I don't get that kind of spam (nor do I want it), but I think it's coming
from cookies and sold email addresses.  I subscribe to several garden
forums, but don't get spam to my personal address.  I also refuse cookies
whenever possible.  Amazon.com wants to set a bunch of them, alas.
