Hi Gene,
I have another question/problem about both of my brunnera. The other
day while strolling around the flowerbeds, I noticed that the crowns of
my brunnera where up out of the ground. Roots and crowns were brown but
still holding on to the soil where they were planted. I poked them back
in the dirt. Do you think that they are dead or will they be alright?
They were the only things in that bed that seem to have frost heaved.
Last spring I had dug them up and placed rock 12" under the soil to give
them better drainage, did this cause the heaving or could something have
pulled them and then given up? Any help for me/them?
Thanks,
Sally
