Another good nursery to visit in Connecticut is Hillside (run by Frederick
McGourty, author of The Perennial Garden, and his wife). Hillside, in
Norfolk, which is not that far from Litchfield, has gorgeous beds--the first
time I fell in love with cimicifugas.
