I have found that the pulmonarias require shade and LOTS of water,
particularly in getting them started.
If you buy them mail order make sure that they come with a soil ball, which is
moist. Best way to buy them is from your local nursery and plant immediately
when you get home. And WATER them.
Pulmonarias are susceptible to a fungus. Be sure to dust them now and then
with a fungicide.(I use Captan (TM).)
Plant Delights sends them the right way as I am sure many other nurseries do.
