Hello Gerry,
Hairy lipfern is Cheilanthes lanosa. Gets about six to eight inches high,
slowly forms a tight clump. Gets it name from all the soft gray hairs all over the
fronds. Turns color during cold weather. Takes a bit more open and dry exposure
than many other ferns. Really nice.
