Re: Cattail

I'm not at all sure I want a plant that appears to be so strong,
overbearing, uncontrolable, as if to say I'm here to stay wheather
you like it or not. I have 2 large clumps of Pampass grass that says
the same thing to me, in order to get rid of it , I think I'm gonna
have to have someone with a backhoe in to dig it up. I had a
elephant ear plant once upon a time that I thought I was gonna have
to bring in a backhoe. I never planted one again.

maybe if I had a stream located on my property it would be ok, but
since I don't, I don't think I'll borrow problems. it would be nice,
but I think I'll just continue admiring them from my car window, driving
on a sunday afternoon, and stop and cut what I want for
decorating. sounds safer.

thanks for all the advice, but I think I'd better pass on this one, and
rethink it. I'll put this on the back burner and think about it
another day..
