We've grown various cultivars of cattails and carex in containers for some
years now. Easy.

If you're looking for the easiest, ultimate bog garden, simply sink a bale
of peat moss (unbroken bag) into your garden. Cut off the top and soak.
You can grow all manner of bog plants in this mini-bog. Again, easy and
no-fuss.
