these are beautiful plants, on one of mine last season one of the
blooms was over 12" long and covered with blooms, all white.
the flowers are cone shaped and covered with blooms the same as a
regular hydrangea...
I don't think there is any other color, if so I've never seen anything
other than the white.
I lost 4 of my plants to the drought last season, but in Feb. I will
make a trip to the wood and bring some more home.
wish they were in your area. maybe you are like me, I didn't know
they grew here until I went looking , and my local nursery man told me
that they grew all over in my county. it's amazing how many I
discovered growing here. talk to your nursery man and see what he
says.
there is another plant. it is called "buckeye" grows wild in the
woods. you might know this plant and do you know the "sweet
shrub" it also grows wild here
