Verbascum bombyciferum
I have a question about the above plant, "Arctic Summer" variety. I saw
it in the latest issue of Garden Design magazine, and wanted something
like it. I have been unable to find this particular variety, although I
did find a source for seeds of this same genus and species. Does anyone
know if this particular variety looks a good deal like the more generic
verbascum bombyciferum? I have learned to be wary of varieties, which
sometime can differ qite a bit from their relatives.
(I have a book which says this plant "tolerates" some shade, so perhaps
this is not off topic?)
