I've had 2 different Black Beauties and they are not easy to grow. Perhaps
they need very moist/wet soil? I dumped lots of water on the one that I
planted last year, but it just hung on without growth.

Hi Marge and all,
I put Hillside Black Beauty on my "wish list" after seeing it on the AHS
2000
convention tour. I like the color better than Atropurpurea. Do you, or
anyone else, know how Black Negligee compares to it? Isn't there a Brunette
also?
Thanks,
