Yep... that's the one.
Sure is a shame I can not have more success with this species. There are
so many nice cultivars and crosses to play with. I like the foliage because
it reminds me of holly leaves. I have a red-stemmed cultivar someone sent me
recently I intent to place on the east side of my property out of prevailing
winds. This one also has some very nice silver mottled and overlaid foliage.
Oh well, there are still a bazillion other hellebores to play with that are
easily grown and just as beautiful.
