Hi Kay,

The thing to do is check with the Australian seller as to what they can
accept.  Credit card is always the best way to pay!  I send personal checks
in US dollars and just add $5 to the total for the currency exchange
fee.  But your seller's bank may have a different charge. If you are a
risk-taker, you can send cash (US dollars) inside a birthday card.  That
will usually get there.  You can send larger amounts by registered insured
mail to some countries.

some banks for outrageous fees ($24 or more each).  International Money
Orders are available through the US Postal Service but not for all countries,
e.g., no such money order is available for Germany. So much for any real
world market on the grassroots level!  Some overseas group accept the usual
