Hi Cindy:

Sounds loike your all set to grow acid loving plants.  I think that rhodies
prefer a pH range 5.0-6.0.  A 1.0 pH change is actually a 10 fold change in
soil acidity.

May I suggest checking with a local chapter of rhodie.  Unfortunately all my
rhodie info is upstairs.
