[SHADEGARDENS] List up and running

Hi everyone:

The new shadegardens list is up and running.  The new welcome letter
containing our rules and general information on where to find archives, etc.
will be sent sometime this weekend.

Thank you for your patience while we waited this out!  THe university
administrator has been busy getting ready for some kind of contest that
could win them money to help support all the email lists at
maelstrom.stjohns.edu -- this is important to everyone's continued enjoyment
of free email lists.

Conversations are welcome again.  May I ask that there be no off-color jokes
of any kind.  One of the new rules is that those people will be removed from
the mailing list without any further warning.  The goal of the list-owners
is to keep this a discussion group on shade garden plants.
