Hello,
Yes, here in North Central Washington state I am receiving the shade
gardens list.
Will miniature roses do well in dappled shade when the temp is around
100 F? I want to plant some interesting things under trees which grow
on the bank of a creek which borders our new property. We own the
property now but must prep the area before we can live on it because it
is in the flood plain so I can't plant anywhere except under the trees
until this is done next summer sometime. There is considerably less
area for planting there than there is here so I have to be more
selective than I have been in the past. My iris, dahlias, lilies, hardy
hibiscus, digitalis, hostas and a few mums will be about all I will be
growing there.
