[SHADEGARDENS] New variety of Impatients

Hi:

Has anyone here grown the new impatiens from Burpee? They include African
Queen (yellow), a blue form from the Himalayans, and African Orchids which
is a hybrid from several species. Just got my order in the mail and am
trying to decide if I should "trust" their growing instructions. Does
anyone have experience with these or even growing regular impatiens from
seed. I think these will brighten up my shade garden and be something
different from the impatients grown by most of my neighbors. They're only
available by mail from burpee--so far they have never appeared in the
stores.

(Since most of you don't know me in real life, you should know that I garden
as competitively as other people play sports! I LOVE the August garden
competition in our townehouses. Unfortunately, the only gardens that get
judged are those in FRONT of your unit which in my case, faces North. Too
bad my sides and back couldn't be included.)
