Hi; your local newspaper usually has a "what's happening" or "local
activities" column; ours runs every Thursday.  You can find info on local
garden clubs there.  Also, local nurseries will know - especially if you
have one or two that specialize in supplying large quantities of annuals,
provided your garden club engages in municipal 'charity' beautification
(which many do).
