Re: [SHADEGARDENS] deer and talk radio

Marge,
I know a lot of people have deer problems.  Have you ever tried putting a
radio in your yard set to a talk radio station?  I read this remedy in Fine
Gardening last year and I am anxious to try it.  I plan to run an old radio
out in the middle of my garden and put it in a mailbox (so it won't get wet)
and turn it on.  What does anyone think of this idea (I know it sounds wacko,
but if it works it will sound simple and ingenious), has anyone tried it?
