If Marilyn has this plant now, she will probably have this plant forever! It
spreads by underground runners and by seed.
I bought three plants eight years ago, and I've spent seven years trying to
get rid of it.
The second year in the garden it was popping up three feet from the parent
plants. I have all amended soil, so it saw no bounds. I now am battling it
in two areas; neither place is the original planting area. BTW, any part of
the white fibrous root left in the ground will produce another plant.
