I think what you need is this:

e-mail to LISTSERV@maelstrom.stjohns.edu      saying SIGNOFF Shadegardens
(my old instructions say SIGNOFF Primroses, but I know that is outdated
now.  However, if the "correct" response didn't work you might try
Primroses.  It can't hurt!!  Failing that, you can try a temporary NOMAIL
by:

sending e-mail as above to LISTSERV@maelstrom.stjohns.edu
saying SET Shadegardens NOMAIL.    When you want to get mail again, send
SET Shadegardens MAIL


Personally I am sorry that your growing season and duties are cranking up
and you'll no longer have the time just now to post.  I've enjoyed your
