Thanks so much, Debra, about your comments on growing aconitum
episcopale in partial shade in areas with hot summers. You are so right
about the shade tolerance being quite dependent on other climate
factors. In east central Illinois, we have "everyone's weather on one
day or another"-- the positive side is that we can experiment with a
wide range of plants as a result, knowing that a given season could be a
very good one for one plant and a very bad one for another, with
opposite results the next year...
