does most of the peat moss that is sold in North America come from?

Can this stuff be manufactured or is it an unrenewable resource?
*** Probably the latter, so what?
Why would some gardeners try not to use peat moss?
*** I DUNNO!.. you tell me? We are talking about using peat moss to grow
some flowers in, opposed to using rotting garbage which kills the plants...
what's the big deal.. save the environment.. yeah sure.. go ahead.. be my

What environmental concerns might they have?
*** There are no environmental concerns on our planet, even though some
would like to believe that there are; and pretend, that something is being
done about it. The rape of our environment & planet, by using up
unrenewable resources is something I will not get into, but thanks for the
"Come on?" guy? :-)
