Thank you for the welcome message.  I am learning more about gardening
every day.  I live about 25 miles north of Atlanta, GA, and have soil that
needs work.  Heavy, clay stuff.  I do have several hostas, some
foamflower, forget-me-nots, and a variety of ferns growing in my shaded
areas.  I want to learn more, particularly about native plants.
