Actually, I've found "well cured compost" is pretty damp-off suppressive
in greenhouse conditions, also. But I'm talking about well-cured compost
+ sterile potting mix + perlite or sand as a seedling germination medium
for greenhouse use, rather than a couple of shovelfuls of garden soil
amended directly with compost and sand.
