Dear Sombreros,

It was a pleasure to read Claire Peplowski's clear questions on the use of
the word secateur. Claire's posting was admirably and concisely answered by
Roberta Diehl using complete sentences and it all made sense. But for every
few of these I seem to be deluged by a bulk that consist of non sequiturs or
people flogging their catalogues. Do all members of this robin know how to
send private messages when the answers don't merit a general posting for all
to scrutinize?

Pperhaps I may be out of line re the rules of behavior of this robin. If
that is the case I will quickly and quietly leave without any rancor.
