I do not know that one-you can try! it should work.
Lobelia siphilitica and Lobelia cardinalis are found in wet soils. I have seen
l. siphilitica growing in locations that are under water for many week every
year.
One thing you can do is build up the soil a little-just make a pile of soil on
the ground and plant the plants on the pile.
