Hi William
Your story was very funny, but I know how true it is. My husband and I use to
live in downtown Toronto at St. Claire and Young Streets and my brother-in-law
lived in Guelph. My husband's parents live in Orillia. My husband and his
family were originally from Kearns Ontario, which I consider the coldest place
I have ever been in so far on this earth. Our oldest son was born in Tonornto
during one of the iciest and coldest winters. As I recall, Toronto had more
ice problems than snow problems.
Anyway, we now live in Massachusetts and things are not much better. We have
ice everywhere.
To keep this post in a gardening vein, I am a major shade gardener and a big
fan of hostas, although I have not started many from seed.
