I bought quite a number of geraniums last year including Johnson's Blue,
Biokovo, Biokovo Karmina, Geranium phaeum Joan Baker, Clarice Druce,
Cambridge and macro. In addition, I planted quite a few Pulmonaria
including Mrs. Moon, Roy Davison, Sterling, Milky Way. The Biokovo and
Macro geraniums did very well as did Mrs Moon and Milky Way - the other
geraniums were deer fodder. I am hoping they come back this year. My
question is when and how do I divide these. Is this year too soon? Some of
the geraniums grew to be as big as 12" across as did the Pulmonaria. I wish
to use these as ground covers and would like as many plants as possible to
fill in the spaces.
Thanks!
