My goodness, Ginny, do you mean Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon'? Yes,
colourful leaves, white flowers with a tall cone in the centre.
Bitter orange smell when you rip it out. And rip it out is what I
did. It was taking over in my dry garden. I shudder to think what it
would have done in the moist conditions it prefers. I know someone
who grows it in a pot at the edge of a concrete pool. Looks great,
and can't escape.
