Re: Any colorful shade plants that last all summer?


Oh well,  just Ginny trying to be helpful.  Not used to plant material behaviour
here in lotusland aka Victoria.  I'll learn eventually.  My dwarf hebe is
blooming now.  Thought it was a feb bloomer.

Have a hosta planted mid june as 1 leaf.  Now 3 leaves and a scape.  Should I
cut it off to let leaves increase better  this year?

My goodness, Ginny, do you mean Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon'?  Yes,colourful
leaves, white flowers with a tall cone in the centre.
