I saw a hydrangea for sale at one of those "gypsy" garden shops today
("Japanese Blue Silver"??). It was a variegated one, and had small
reddish-brown spots all over the leaves. They showed on the back of the
leaves as duller brown spots as though whatever it is worked it's way
through the leaf. Anyone know what this is and if it's deadly or
contagious? It's been very wet here this year and I'm having a lot of
fungus rotting going on (like with the pulmonarias and lamb's ear), so I'm
not sure if it's that or a virus. The reddish color is weird.
Thanks!
