Houttuynia cordata

I keep my Houttuynia in a pot above ground all the time.  Of course if
we get a cold winter it dies but lately the temperature has not been
that cold.  Besides if my plant dies, the other gardeners who have it in
the ground always have plenty to share with me.  My mother keeps hers in
a pot in the water garden and it behaves in its pot.
