Hi Sheila
I don't know why, maybe the guy is farther east which is more moist but
I do a website for a large daylily hybridizating operation in Center, Tx
and the guy is always telling me his hostas look great there, he even
sells some I think. Also another one in DeRidder, LA which is in the
same general area but even farther south of Dallas and they are always
after me to send them new hostas. They have a very extensive collection.
