Bobbi --
Try it where it stays dry, esp in winter -- planting out a dozen that I
grew from seed one year, all the ones in the good part of the garden died
within 2 years, and the ones planted under the eaves of the house
(southern exposure) where watering was sparse at best lived 10 years,
until they got so woody that I just dug them out as they weren't so
pretty any more. They also started blooming earlier and stayed blooming
later than the ones in the garden (april to november generally.)
