Re: gentle suggestion

Hi Bob et al --- Just thought I'd add "my two cents worth" regarding your
thoughts (Mr. Robert Axmear) about a 'PRIMROSES/shadegardens' name-change
(new list?); and on this matter, my first and last thoughts are simply, that
I support your moves in any way, shape or form: which you may wish to move
on to improve? That is one hundred percent support from myself to Bob
Axmear, to do as he personally sees fit and proper.

*DIFFERENT TOPIC* per ECHINACEA (coneflower)
This genus/species, blooms from mid July, right through and UP TO freeze
up; and as such: I PERSONALLY LOVE THEM. I'm into LINE BREEDING, certain
coneflower types; like for example, E. 'Ruby Giant' (red coneflower) and E.
'Art's Pride' (orange flowering?); and of course, my ultimate objective of
these multi-generation seedling trials projects -- is to possibly come up
with a decent SEED-STRAIN -- which shall reproduce the kids' flowering, to
be fairly exact, to that of the maternal seed-pod-parent likeness? I am
presently testing about 1000 seed-kids, from a self pollination of Ruby
Giant coneflower (Magnus derivative?), with the next step being a cross of
the best two sisters. I call this nonsense, "Just fooling around, with
nothing better to do?" and the lesson to learn here is: DON'T EVER RETIRE
FROM YOUR FULL TIME JOB, WHATEVER OR WHERE-EVER THIS MAY BE! -- because
sitting in a chair and just waiting to die -- can be so-awefully-BORING!..
trust me? <grin> {I'm joking}

*QUESTION*
I see that there is an Echinacea called "RAZMATAZZ" -- having a full
double-like floret thingy. What concerns me, is comparable to Hosta VENUS,
which is a double flowering type, but has flower parts missing, which means,
no seeds can ever be had. This blocks the applications of seedling
production; and my question here is: DOES ANYONE KNOW IF "razmatazz
coneflower", has all of the flower parts needed for seed production, or is
it: perhaps sterile???

PLEASE EXCUSE, my dumb question... *LAUGH*
