Siberian Catmint that he grows. I did a google
search in order to see the color as well as size and form. Color was
anything from pink to blue/purple. Size was listed as 18 inches to 4 feet.
Light was part shade to full sun or Full sun only.
I hope you had a chance to look up the Nepeta subsessilis its the one that
grows in more shade.
Nepeta sibirica For me needs at least half day of sun to do well-though the
ones I have in pots in the growing area only get a few hours of direct sun-the
rest of the day is bright indirect sun and they do all right.
Another plant that has large blue flowers that does well for me in high shade
with no direct sun and blooms this time of the year is Campanula raniculoids
(SP?) or creeping bellflower. A great "shade"plant with tall upright stems
that adds some blue in July. It can be weedy if the roots are disturbed -- but
under shade its well behaved for me.
