George, I think you are right about the above.  The other thing is I am a
gardener, not a botanist.  I am not interested in the botanical names and most of
the time when botanical names are used I have no idea what you are talking
about.  Common names would help me lots.

I have tried looking the plant up, but by the time I have accomplished that
little feat I have lost interest.

Just this morning I discovered that campanula should be planted in shade?  I
just planted one and put it in the sunniest spot that I have available.
Trying to fill in a bed where nematodes have been in hostas and needing something
to go there that will not be as susceptible to nematode infection.

BTW, has anyone spotted foliar nematodes in their hostas.  This is the time
of year that they raise their ugly heads, so be watchful!
