    Each to his/her own...... I will admit that hosta are one of the easiest
plants to use in the shade garden. Take almost any situation in the garden
where you are doing a new or old design and need a plant. While you are
trying to figure out just exactly the right plant for that exact spot..
throw in a hosta.. any hosta, and it will work design wise. One of the
reasons they are used so much, I think. Nothing "wrong" in all that...
pretty good, actually. Just I think they tend to get overused in the shade
garden.
