Thanks for the input on my book. Actually I published two books, one on
hostas in 1991 (Timber Press). It is The Genus Hosta - Giboshi Zoku, now out
of print but available in the secondary market for around $100.00.
Originally it was $59.95. The other book is Encyclopedia of Shade
Perennials, almost 400 pages, 500 color illustrations, over 7,000 entries in
185 genera. mostly newer plants. Still in print, you can get it from Amazon
for 30% off ($35.00 - $49.95 regular price) and they pay the shipping. It
has an extensive treatment of the subject shade and also detailed chapter on
bugs and pests including foliar nematodes. My hosta book also has info on
all kinds of pests but not on shade. Thanks to all who have bought either
