[SG] Who is Joyce Brooks?

Time for me to stir things up a bit! I just purchased through an on-line
auction site(e-bay) two fans of a supposedly excellent daylily for
shadegardens. The name is JOYCE BROOKS and she is diploid, with creamy,
almost white petals, softly flushed with lavender. I think that she will
go well in a shady spot out on the west side of our house, under a rather
large sugar maple. Does anyone know anything about this particular
variety? My friend, Josh, says he does not know of it and he has well
over 300 varieties...Hmmm....

Will wait to hear from all you !

Also, does anyone have any divisions of hardy hibiscus, pink, rose or
red, that they would be willing to part with? Many catalogs offer 4"
potted plants but I would like to find some with a healthier root system.
The ones that I have now are huge, white with rose centers and they offer
a real "in your face" explosion of color. These are not for the faint of
heart. Clyde???

I love this list!!!!
